Rubber Rollers and Wheels

Zenith Rubber (NZ) Ltd refurbishes rubber covered rollers and wheels for the New Zealand and Australian Market, Roller and wheel refurbishment service is now the cornerstone of Zenith Rubber’s operations, which has recently been extended to include "Ready to Print" rollers from the Zenith Rubber Limited.

Zenith Rubber continues to provide superior roller and wheel rubber coverings not only used in the printing industry but to the steel, aluminium, plastics, paper, textile and wood-processing industries. A diverse range of functions, specific conditions, complex requirements and a broadly diversified product range: Industrial production would be almost inconceivable without rollers: strips and sheets made of metal, plastic, wood, textiles or paper are printed, laminated, dyed, contact pressed or smoothed. Liquid media such as ink, stains or coatings are applied.

Our goal is high-quality, application based products with a wide range of different characteristics to achieve optimum results. Therefore the coverings of the rollers must meet the highest standards. Each material offers the ideal combination of characteristics; hardness, temperature stability, ink and solvent resistance, rebound elasticity and resistance to wear and tear, all to meet the specific requirements of a given job.

Specialty Rubber Grinding

Often there is a need to produce a profile so that a certain function can be performed by a rubber roller or wheel. Zenith Rubber can accurately grind spiral threads into a Glue Spreader roller or Grooves into a wheel to provide a tread. On a conveyor drive roller there may be a need to have a chequer patterned groove applied to it so that it gives better drive to the conveyor belt and is also self cleaning. Spiral grooves may be required in a Speed sander roller for the wood working industry.

We are able to accommodate circumferential grooves, lateral grooves, slots or a pattern of any type within house, we use various methods for profiling a roller but most are accomplished using grinding or hot knife.
 

Specialty Rubber Products

We are able to build specialty articles by hand or by using mandrels/formers, we can manufacture customised unique articles such as a pressure shut off valve for an Oil Rig. A pair of Forklift lifting clamps that need to have rubber coated on them or maybe the forks themselves to prevent slippage to reduce damage to an object that is being carried.
